Witches set sail on Saturday.

There are two options for paddlers in pointy hats to hit the water - in Vernon and Lake Country.

In Lake Country, the third annual paddle on Wood Lake makes a splash at 3 p.m. on Oct. 12. It is being combined with the second Magical Market on at Oyama Community Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sarah Thompson with the Wood Lake Water Witches said last year's paddle saw over 160 people on the water and an equivalent number of people on shore.

"We know it's a long weekend, but hopefully everyone will still come out with their witch hats and bring all of their family that's in town visiting."

Market tickets are $12 or $15 at the door. The first five people to post "ABRACADABRA" in the will receive two free tickets each into the market.

Witches and warlocks will make a splash in Kalamalka Lake Saturday at 12 noon from Kal Beach.

"Come dressed up in any spooky costume (doesn香蕉视频直播檛 have to be a witch or warlock) decorate your SUP or kayak, and paddle around the Kal Beach area for the afternoon. Bring your family, friends, and pets!" the Facebook event reads.
