Restaurant swap: Penticton and Kelowna food staples expanding

Kin and Folk is expanding to Kelowna while BNA is opening its third location in Penticton

A duo of Okanagan restaurants are set to expand... to each other's town.

In recent announcements, Penticton's Kin and Folk restaurant is expanding to Kelowna, while BNA Brewing is going to open its third location in Penticton.

Kin and Folk made their announcement on March 24 and will be located where Krafty Kitchen was, at 281 Lawrence Street. It will be right beside the newest restaurant in town, Ask Pablo. Krafty Kitchen closed on Dec. 22, 2024.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Black Press Media reached out to Kin and Folk for comment on the expansion but have yet to hear back. 

BNA Brewing, which opened in Kelowna in 2015, announced on social media on April 10 they are opening third location in Penticton, taking over the space where Slackwater Brewing was on Martin Street. .
