World's top para snowboarders compete on Okanagan champagne powder

Big White Ski Resort, east of Kelowna, is ready to go for the Welcome to Paradise FIS Para Snowboard World Championships. 

Starting Mar. 4, the seven day competition will feature head-to-head racing in snowboardcross (SBX) and banked slalom, a test of precision and speed. 

Top Canadian athletes to watch for include three-time Para SBX Crystal Globe winner Tyler Turner, World Championships medallist Sandrine Hamel, and rising star Philippe Nadreau.
