West Kelowna Warriors defenceman Axel Lofgren has been added to the roster for the BCHL All-Star Weekend.

Lofgren will play on the Interior Conference team. The Swedish defenceman has the most goals among all blueliners with nine and is tied for ninth in points with 19 in 26 games, split between West Kelowna and the Powell River Kings. He was acquired in a trade with Powell River Kings on Nov. 26 in exchange for defenceman Landen Hilditch and forward Eliot Compton. Logren replaces former Vernon Viper Cooper Cleaves on the Interior team. Cooper left the BCHL for the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL.

Lofgren joins Coquitlam Express forward Jack Bakker, and Prince George Spruce Kings defenceman Evan Bellamy on the Top Prospects Game rosters. Surrey Eagles forward Sihwan Kim and Nanaimo Clippers forward Cole Lonsdale have been added to the All-Star Tournament roster.
