The Owls were shutout for the second time in the regular season on Friday in Abbotsford.

Despite the loss, head coach Chris Cartwright said his team battled and  played well on defense.

"It was a great football game," said Cartwright. You don't like to lose these ones especially when the team is battling every play. Our defence played an amazing game for us and put us in great position on offense.  Unfortunately, we couldn't get the momentum to get one in the end zone."

The Owls will host the powerhouse Terry Fox Ravens (3-0) on Friday. Kick off at the Apple Bowl is 4 p.m.
