Strong defensive play and stellar keeping on both sides resulted in a 0-0 draw between Kelowna and Kamloops Sunday in U15 boys Thompson Okanagan Youth Soccer League action.
Possession was evenly distributed throughout the match with each team exerting short bursts of energy and pressure under the scorching sun.
The best scoring chance of the match came in extra time from KU centre back Bailey Lovich who carried the ball through the middle, beating several defenders along the way, only to have his shot deflected by the onrushing Kamloops keeper.
