The Revelstoke Cricket Club kicked off the summer season with a big victory over the Kelowna Casuals.
Cricketers braved the blazing sun on Sunday, July 14, to take on the Casuals on their home turf.
The 30-over match was played with Kelowna batting first. They scored 138 runs, marking a difficult task for the Revelstoke batters.
However, with just two balls left in Revelstoke's inning, the team was able to get the victory, winning by one wicket.
Man of the match was Revy's Fin Pringle, who scored 50 runs in his first match for the team.
Eight wickets were claimed by Revelstoke's bowling trio of captain Nagender Kanwar (two), Navdeep Samra (three) and Amar Singh (three).
