Penticton U18 female hockey team wins gold medal on home ice

An overtime thriller at Memorial Arena last weekend ended with Penticton's U18 Female A team on top.

The South Knights edged the Cranbrook Bucks 3-2 in overtime to claim tournament gold on Sunday, Dec. 8.

Hosted by the Penticton Minor Hockey Association, the tournament featured teams from Peace River, B.C. and Calgary.
