The Kelowna Owls will carry the Okaganan香蕉视频直播檚 colours next month at the B.C. AAA girls high school basketball championship in Langley.
The Owls captured the 2017 valley title with a nail-biting, 57-55 win over the Pen Hi Lakers in Saturday香蕉视频直播檚 final in Salmon Arm.
The championship game was close from start to finish, as Kennedy Dickie paced the Owls attack with 13 points, nine rebounds and three steals.
Dez Day chipped in with 11 points, while Kasey Patchell had nine for KSS. Owls香蕉视频直播� player of the game Alley Corrado had nine points, five rebounds, seven assists and three steals.
A night earlier in the semifinal, the Owls rolled over the Salmon Arm Jewels 88-30.
Abby Cullen led KSS with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 2 steals. Corrado contributed 12 points and 8 assists, while player of the game Kennedy Dickie and Day each added 11 points.
Alley Corrado, Courtney Donaldson and Kennedy Dickie were all named to the tournament香蕉视频直播檚 first all-star team, while Dez Day was a second-team selection.
Pen High香蕉视频直播檚 Lindsay Carron was named the tournament香蕉视频直播檚 MVP.
The lone Okanagan rep, the Owls will be at the Langley Events Centre March 1 to 4 for the B.C. AAA high school girls basketball championship.
