The Okanagan Sun is once again advancing to the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC) finals.
After finishing the regular season second in the conference with an 8-1 record, the Sun hosted the Valley Huskers in Saturday香蕉视频直播檚 semi-final, beating them 33-16.
The Sun香蕉视频直播檚 running game was the difference in the semi-final as Aidan Wiberg ran for 101 yards and two touchdowns on 12 rushing attempts. Elelyon Noa also ran for a touchdown and 54 yards, also on 12 attempts.
Quarterback Hunter Norman went 15/26 for 180 yards in the game.
Tariq Brown and Michael Jourdan each added an interception on the defensive end.
This year香蕉视频直播檚 BCFC finals is a rematch of last year香蕉视频直播檚, as the Sun prepares to take on the number one seed Westshore Rebels, who finished the regular season 10-0. They also won their semi-final contest 40-14 over Langley.
The two teams only got to play once this regular season, when the Rebels beat the Sun 52-23 back on Aug. 26.
In last year香蕉视频直播檚 Cullen Cup BCFC finals, the Sun beat the Rebels 38-0.
Because Westshore is the higher seed, they will host this year香蕉视频直播檚 championship, on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Starlight Stadium in Langford, B.C. Kick-off is at 3 p.m.
