With the Central Zone Rockets serving as hosts, the Kelowna Minor Hockey Association is staging its annual midget tier 1 tournament this weekend at Memorial and Rutland Arenas.
The Rockets, who play in the , will be join by seven other tier 1 teams from B.C. and Alberta.
The Rockets first game is at 5 p.m. today at Memorial Arena against St. Albert.
The Kelowna-based team will play tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. against Ridge Meadows and at 5 p.m. vs. Seafair, with both games at Memorial.
The championship final will be played Sunday at 2:45 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Rockets dropped a 6-3 contest to the Thompson Blazers in OMAHA action last Saturday at Memorial.
Blaine Worthing scored twice, with Will Reimer adding the other in the loss.
