The host Kelowna Skating Club sent 20 skaters on to the ice and won eight medals last weekend at the 2017 BC Super Series Star Final.
The annual event serves as the provincial championships for developmental level figure skaters.
A weekend highlight featured a trio of Kelowna skaters sweeping the podium in the Juvenile Women under 14 event.
Kelowna香蕉视频直播檚 Emily Sales skated a clean performance and scored a personal-best 32.91 points to capture the gold medal. Brooklyn Cowen and Kira Koffler skated to silver and bronze medals, respectively.
Sales also won the silver medal in the STAR 9 event. This was nothing short of an excellent season for the 11-year-old Dorothea Walker student, as she also captured the BC and Yukon crown at the Sectionals in November.
Another highlight for the Kelowna team was a 1-2 finish in STAR 5 Girls under 10 division. Megan Yudin captured the provincial title with a personal-best score of 20.45, while her club mate Gabrielle Jugnauth finished second with 20.18, also a personal-best.
The Kelowna team also had great success in the STAR 4 Girls under 10 event. Ariana Rose won the gold medal, while Calissa Adlem won bronze.
This event represented the end of the season for BC figure skaters.
