Despite the Kelowna FalconsÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™ season coming to an end earlier this week, there is still one more week of baseball in Kelowna.
This weekend, the Kelowna MenÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s Baseball League playoffs are taking place at Elks Stadium from Friday night to Sunday night.
Because the league features six teams, the playoffs are a double elimination format with the first and second seeds receiving byes.
The Pirates go into the playoffs with a perfect 10-0 record while the #2 seed is the Jays are finishing with a record of 7-3.
On Friday night, the #3 seed Expos (4-6) take on the #6 seed Dodgers (1-8-1) at 5:30 p.m. while the #4 seed Astros (4-6) take on the #5 seed Padres (1-7-2) at 8 p.m.
The winning team will move on to a spot in the senior AA provincials in Maple Ridge during September long weekend.
All games are at Elks Stadium.
