Former NHL star Duncan Keith meets fans, signs autographs in Penticton

Olympic gold medalist greets fans at local car dealership

Three-time Stanley Cup champion Duncan Keith spent parts of last weekend meeting fans and signing autographs in Penticton.

Keith, who also won Olympic gold medals with Canada at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics, was at Penticton Nissan on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Fans lined up inside the car dealership starting at 2:30 p.m., to meet the Penticton Panthers alumni. Keith took photos with fans and signed their memorabilia until around 5 p.m.

The defenceman played with Penticton in the BCHL from 1999 to 2001, before suiting up for the Kelowna Rockets during the 2002-2003 WHL season.

Keith went on to play 16 seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, before wrapping up his NHL career in Edmonton in 2021-2022.
