What do baseball, fireworks and fundraising have in common?
All three will be centre stage Wednesday night at Elks Stadium when the Kelowna Falcons take on the Cowlitz Black Bears in West Coast League action. First pitch is 6:35 p.m.
With the goal of raising $50,000 this year, the Falcons are hosting their annual Fire Fighters Burn Fund charity game.
All ticket sales will be donated to the cause.
Following the game, an on-field concert will be followed by a fireworks display in centrefield.
With the Canada Day fireworks in Kelowna having recently been cancelled, the Falcons are happy to be offering their traditional display.
