To the editor:
After some consideration (all of one hour) I decided to write.
I started my day off in my usual way a coffee at Tim Hortons in Rutland. After an hour of socializing with friends I drove my friend home. I made a right turn onto Franklyn and when I got to Franklyn and Houghton I came to a complete stop with my car slightly inclined to the right indicating I was making a right turn.
There was a police car stopped in the curb lane I assume doing paperwork or a coffee or whatever. Next thing I have lights in my mirror when I realized he was stopping me. I produced the paperwork he asked for. He went back to his car and returned my paperwork along with a ticket. Price tag $121. The reason: I didn香蕉视频直播檛 put my signal on indicating a right turn.
I am 77 years of age and have driven all over North America commercially and RV香蕉视频直播檌ng with no infraction, a record of 40 years. I was raised in an era where you respected authority. Whatever I was taught came to an end as I used unprintable expletives to describe this constable.
I know I will get over it, it is just too bad it had to happen. Guess he will meet his quota this month.
