The Lumby MenÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s Shed was excited to host Doug Mackie when he came from Manitoba to meet with members recently.

Mackie started the very first MenÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s Shed in North America. He was 67 at the time when his daughter Lisa, from Saskatoon, discovered the concept during a chat with a woman from Australia.

Inspired, Lisa called her father encouraging him to start a local shed which he did in Winnipeg in 2011.

From there they have spread across Canada and the US.

Come and meet some Shedder at Jitter Beans every Tuesday morning at 10 a.m.

For more information check out the Lumby Men's Shed Facebook page or email: lumbymensshed@gmail.com.
