To the editor:
Good news and bad news. The good news is that the water levels in Okanagan Lake have stopped rising and the threat of further flooding has somewhat diminished.
The bad news is that we are stuck with the construction of a new visitors center that the majority of residents opposed as well as the high costs associated with it.
Solution: Build the new center out of sandbags. There should be sufficient number available, construction costs will be minimal, it will be safe in the event of future floods, and if things don香蕉视频直播檛 work out, just disassemble it.
