To the editor:

I would like to thank Mr. Baudais for his intricately written article (Not responsible for climate change, June 9/17).

I can rest much easier with the facts that Mr. Baudais has provided. These were reinforced by Lord Monckton, a man who has a degree in classics, a diploma in journalism, who lied about being a Nobel Peace Laureate recipient, and who is not actually a Lord. This man is able to stump the world㽶Ƶֱs leading climatologists including James Hansen, the director of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, and David Easterling, the chief of the scientific services division at the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration㽶Ƶֱs National Climatic Data Centre. Mr. Monckton is truly an expert in the field of global warming without actually possessing any credentials or education in that field.

I can rest easier knowing that negating the impact of changing temperatures from man made climate change has no significant impact on the fish, polar bears and wildlife.

I can rest easier knowing that we㽶Ƶֱve managed to replicate in the past two hundred years the same extent of global warming and cooling that has occurred over a period of thousands of years. This is a natural phenomenon and absolutely nothing to worry about. The consequences to our planet, our species, and our food sources will be negligible and I have nothing to worry about because individuals like Mr. Baudais and Mr. Monckton possess all the facts.
