Wayne Clifford Fipke passed away peacefully in Kelowna surrounded by family. Wayne had an indomitable spirit that led him on many adventures over his 73 years, and his ambition, creativity, and love for life were intoxicating to anyone who was lucky enough to cross paths with him. Wayne's famous outlook on life, even when battling cancer, was to "Stay positive, and never give up!"
Wayne was born in Ottawa, Ontario in 1948 to Leonard (Ed) and Anna Fipke, who predeceased him. He is loved and missed by his family including his wife, Ava; and his sons and daughters, Asaph and his wife Hemsa, Johanna and her husband Ben, Beau and Leila.
He was a loving and fun Papa to 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings, Chuck, Neil, and Carol.
A private memorial will be held at Springfield Funeral Home.
