Stafford lost his battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at home on Aug 2, 2021 surrounded by his kids Randall, Foster, Brittany, wife Toni, daughter-in-law Andrea and mother-in-law Fanny.
He will be sorely missed by family, close friends and many, many people that he knew throughout the baseball community and work. Stafford had a huge heart and was always the first to help out anyone in need. His co-workers at Interior Health would attest to that.
His love for baseball, both playing and watching the boys was one of his greatest passions. Another passion was for vintage cars, black & white shows, music from the Beatles, Elton John to Benny Goodman...that is what made Stafford an old school classy guy.
No service will be held, instead we will organize a Celebration of Life in the near future. A donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in Stafford's name would be a great way to honor his life.
