Ron Dombowsky passed away from cancer at Hospice House on May 23, 2016 at the age of 64 years.  Ron is survived by his wife Bonnie; sons Daniel and David; brothers: Greg, Len, Jerry (Maria); and sisters: MaryAnn (Dave) Hendricks, Josie (Charles) Nixdorff, and Betty (Don) Thorssen, as well as several nieces and nephews.  Pre-deceased by his father Joseph, mother Anne, and his sister Margaret.

 

Ron was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and resided in Kelowna for the past 35 years. He is lovingly remembered by his family, friends and co-workers as cheerful, friendly and giving. Ron was a life-long member of the Knights of Columbus, and was past Grand Knight. His co-workers at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency will greatly miss his positive attitude and friendship.

 

Prayers will be recited on Sunday, May 29th at 7:30 pm and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 30th at 10:30 am, both at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 839 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna, BC.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice House.  Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.springfieldfuneralhome.com, 250-860-7077.
