After a brief, yet interminable battle with ALS, Rick Whittaker passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 with his family by his side. He is remembered by Wendy, his wife of 27 years; sons Darcy and Ryan; his sister Diane (Pat) haw; niece Tami Shaw; nephew Kelly (Jen) Shaw and their children. What made this disease

manageable at all was the amazing care of family, friends, the BC ALS society,

the angels at both the May Bennett Wellness Centre and the Central Okanagan Hospice House along with the many doctors and their pro-active support.As he was an avid golfer and member

at Sunset Ranch Golf Club, a celebration in his memory will be held there in the coming weeks. To be personally updated, please notify the family at:
