Pauline passed away on the evening of Sunday, October 21, 2019 in the presence of her family.
Born in Manitoba December 4, 1922, Pauline was one of 11 children born to Annie and Sam Dutchak. She is survived by son Walter (Krys) of Kamloops, daughter Gayle (Jim) of Calgary, stepsons Rick (Sandy) of West Kelowna and Del (Nelda) of Phoenix, sisters Minnie of Kelowna and Mary of Calgary, and brother Paul of Manitoba. She was predeceased by her husband Ivan Peterson and first husband Stanley Bobinski, as well as 7 of her brothers and sisters.
Pauline was a wonderful cook who made cabbage rolls that could not be duplicated. She and Ivan enjoyed fishing, camping, and travelling the world.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 with a 12:30 pm reception and 1:30 pm service at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, www.heartandstroke.ca. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.springfieldfuneralhome.com.
