She was born in Dungannon, Northern Ireland. It is with great sadness that we announce that Martha Elizabeth Henderson (nee Robertson) passed away peacefully in Kelowna on Dec. 8, 2020 at the age of 96.
She didn't quite make it to her goal of 105. A long-time volunteer at the Minoru Place Seniors' Centre in Richmond, she's gone to join "The Great Irish Knitters".
She is survived by her husband, Duncan Green, of 26 years, her daughter Helen, Helen's partner Ed, two grandchildren Lawrence and Andrea and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by Duncan's son Wayne, wife Edith, grand children Ryan and Jodi and two great grandchildren.
Martha loved her trips "down the road" and bus trips to the Washington casinos.
