John Bauer, born October 6, 1932 in Wilkie SK, passed away on September 16, 2018 at the age of 85. He is survived by his loving wife Joan (nee Marchand), daughters Sandra Bauer (Paul Garrett) and Rhonda (Dirk) Jongkind, sons Gregory (Lynda) and Stephen (Raelyn), nine grandchildren Christopher, Sarah, Scott, Elise, Nicholas, Shawn, Nicole, Jenna and Tyrel, great grandchildren Alexandra and Livia, sisters Doreen, Yvonne and June (Mel), brothers Ray (Laurraine), Frank (Donna), Jim (Bev) and Wayne (Linda). He is predeceased by his parents John and Gisela Bauer, baby daughter Janice and sisters Mary, Loretta, Eva, Rose, Isabelle and Helen.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 11:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna BC. Interment to follow on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 1:30 pm at the Westbank Cemetery, 3717 Elliott Rd., West Kelowna, BC.
