October 8, 1980 - March 6, 2021
Our beloved brother, son, father, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to many has been taken from us too soon at just 40 years old. Born in Whitecourt, Alberta, to Bryan Dyck and Darlene Gauvin, Jason soon moved to Penticton, where he became a big brother to Jennifer, and later moved to Vernon. A graduate of VSS, Jason's passion was music and he enjoyed DJing at various events. He met Sarah Lacroix and started a family, as well as his own painting business. His daughters Lydia (11) and Carmen (5) were the love of his life. Sadly, mental health struggles broke up his family but he found some stability with his maternal family in Terrace before moving to Invermere for work, where he passed away from unclear health issues. Jason is predeceased by his mother and grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being sought for a fund for Jay's girls (contact Jennifer or Sarah) or donate to the Canadian Mental Health Association, cmhavernon.ca where you can also find support if needed.
