Herb went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the age of 94. He is survived by his 3 children Daryle (Holly Hardman), Dale (Lynette) and Carol (Randy) Hamel, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Vernice in 2015 and by a son Dwayne.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday October 23, 2018 at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Gideons, www.gideons.ca.
