June 6, 1936 - May 18, 2021
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Don Dieno.
Don grew up in Oliver, BC, and at the age of 18 he joined the Air Force. He was stationed at a number of bases in Canada and Europe. After 32 years of service, he retired in Kelowna in order to enjoy his family, his dogs and his garden.
Don was predeceased by his brothers Max, Arthur, Gus and Harold. He leaves behind his sisters Edna Trottien of Burnaby and Audrey Smith of Kelowna.
We wish to thank the doctors and nurses at KGH for their compassionate care, and the staff at the Dorchester Retirement Home for their kindness and thoughtfulness. Also a big thank you to his nephew Cameron for all the things he did for Don over the past years.
Don will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace.
No service by request.
