McCALLUM, Dennis Wayne passed away peacefully at home in Kelowna, BC on Wednesday June 1, 2016 at the age of 81. He fought a long a courageous battle with asbestosis. He never complained and always had a big smile for everyone he saw. He was the youngest son of James and Annie (McColman) McCallum and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his loving wife Marion, daughter Lorraine (Shawn), Lacombe, AB, son Lloyd, Blackfalls, AB, and son Lee (Valerie), Kelowna, BC. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren Caroline, Jill, Janet(Jim), Joclyn, Ashley (Kevin), Tanya (Rob), Bradley, Alicia, Skyleigh (Cody) and Logan and several great-grandchildren. He is survived by many other family members including his brother-in-law Alex (Mary Ann) MacKay. Besides his parents and siblings Dennis was predeceased by his oldest son Larry. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Bratt and all his caring and compassionate staff at Healthy at Home Senior Care. We would like to give a special thank you to Maggie for giving such outstanding carte to Dennis for five and a half years. We would like to thank Dr. Schriemer for the great care he gave Dennis for so many years. There will be no service by request. A family memorial will be held at a later date.
