With great sadness the family of Carol Swan announces the passing of Carol on Aug. 10, 2022. She was born in Vancouver Aug. 20 1944.
Carol is survived by her husband of 57 years, Francis (Sonny) Swan, daughters , Holly Yates of Sointula ,Bc, Tila Tilley of Arizona and son Jamie Swan of Kelowna, six grand children and seven great grand children.
Carol is also survived by her brother John Edwards of Nichola Valley, BC.
Carol was trained as a Medical stenographer as well as a Rehab assistant.
Predeceased by her parents, D'Arcy & Margaret Edwards of Kelowna.
Carol was a great granddaughter of the first mayor of Kelowna, mayor Henry Raymer.
She was a long time resident of Kelowna and area and moved to the Vernon area in 2016 and loved the Okanagan Valley.
She loved cooking and baking for family and friends and loved her flowers and gardening.
An open house is being planned for some time in the Spring for family and friends to celebrate Carols life.
