Bertha passed away peacefully on July 6, 2021, just one month shy of her 101 birthday. Bert was born in Kendal, Saskatchewan, August 8, 1920. After returning to Moose Jaw, SK from her service in the Canadian Air Force in 1944, she married Robbie and had two sons. In 1958, her husband's career moved them to Calgary, AB, where she had her third son. She raised her boys, then she and her husband retired to Kelowna, BC in 1979. A talented stain glass artist, she made several amazing lamps. She loved to crochet, knit, and shop for clothes! Spending time at the family cabin at Shuswap Lake brought her a lot of joy. She had a very positive outlook on life and was always happy and cheerful right to the end. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Cedric "Robbie" in 2009. She is survived by her three sons: Donald of Calgary, Kenyon (Wendy) and Roger of Kelowna; four grandchildren: Aaron (Heather), Regan (Bill), Scott (Lauren) and Shaina (Kevin); five great-grandchildren: Kyle, Koen, Isla, Jake and Adam.
