In Loving Memory ~

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our mother, Barbara Dumbovic. On Friday morning, November 24th at just 60 years old the Lord called our mother home.

Born in Cepeli拧, Croatia, she immigrated first to Winnipeg, Canada before moving to Kelowna in 1994 where she made a name for herself making and selling perogies.

Beginning at the Kelowna Farmer's Market, she grew her business from a van to a food truck and eventually to her restaurant, Barb's Delights, where she celebrated her 13th anniversary this past summer.

Her kind, generous spirit and sacrificial love will live on not only in our memories, but in the memories of the many people who's lives she blessed. Though we miss her dearly, we take great comfort knowing she is in heaven and we will be reunited with her one day soon.

Celebration of life will be held at the Ramada Inn on Friday, April 19th at 2:00 pm.
