Residents of Kelowna threw on pink, headed downtown, ate some sweet treats and spread a little kindness today.
The Two Security teamÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s Pink Shirt Day bake sale went off without a hitch, with many stopping by and donating generously to the cause.
The Kelowna tech company reports that the bake sale brought in more than $400.
Two Hat will now match all the money raised, rounding it up to $1,000, and donate it to the CKNW Orphans Fund.

To celebrate Pink Shirt Day, and to fundraise for the anti-bullying movement, the team at Two Hat n downtown Kelowna.
From 12 to 1 p.m., a selection of desserts are available for purchase in the lobby of the Community Sift office building Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥“ 554 Leon Avenue.
Two Hat Security is the creator of the advanced community management
Community Sift has built digital armour for social media and gaming companies trying to protect their virtual worlds. Their chat filter and moderation tool examines real-time website commentary, chat room conversations and banter between game players.
As online communities continue to come under the attack of cyberbullies, racist speech and spam, the Kelowna tech firm has developed the technology to keep the trolls under the bridge.
Bake Sale purchases/donations are cash-only, and will go towards various anti-bullying programs across the province.
