In just one day, more than $5,000 has been raised for the man whose RV exploded last week in Penticton.
Mary Moorman has started a for Denis Legace after his RV blew up with him in it on Feb. 15 at Happy Hills RV Resort.
In the , she said that Legace was living off of disability when it is believed a propane tank being installed sprung a leak causing his 香蕉视频直播榟umble home香蕉视频直播 to explode.
When Penticton Fire crews arrived they found a travel trailer with the sides blown open from an apparent explosion. Crews ensured the propane was isolated and located the tenant who was sitting outside suffering from burns, said Rob Trupp, assistant fire chief. An ambulance took the victim to hospital.
Penticton Indian Band fire department arrived and assumed command of the incident, said Trupp.
According to Moorman, Legace will take time to recover from significant burns he sustained. His senior dog was with him at the time but only suffered singed fur.
With no money to purchase a replacement RV, Moorman is hoping the community can come together to help.
