UPDATE: Arrest in smashed windows at Penticton Canadian Revenue Agency

UPDATE:

A 40-year-old man was arrested after throwing rocks and smashing numerous windows and the the glass doors at the Penticton Canada Revenue Agencies on Tuesday.

At 11:45 a.m., officers responded to a report of a man throwing rocks at the CRA windows at 277 Winnipeg Street. Upon arrival, the man was located nearby and arrested for mischief.

The BC Prosecution Service is considering charges of mischief against the 40-year-old man. He was released and will appear in Penticton Provincial Court on March 27.

It香蕉视频直播檚 not known if anyone working at CRA at the time was injured or interacted with the man.

Local company Total Restoration spent Tuesday clearing out the remaining glass and boarding up the window spaces.

At least nine panels of glass were smashed in.

This crime comes after Penticton Parkers Chrysler caught a man smashing out two vehicles with a crowbar before fleeing on Sunday. Also this weekend, an employee at Freeride Board Shop was assaulted in an unprovoked attack by a man with a piece of glass.

The 21-year-old man was arrested in a sushi restaurant on Front Street.
