Trouble with allegedly aggressive driver on Hein Road

The driver was seen allegedly spinning the trucks tires, while sliding sideways and traveling at a high rate of speed

A Kelowna man is without his vehicle after being stopped by police for speeding and subsequently discovered to be allegedly impaired by alcohol.

On April 21 shortly after 11 p.m., an RCMP officer conducted a traffic stop with a grey GMC pickup truck being operated in a dangerous and erratic manner along Hein Road. The driver was seen allegedly spinning the trucks tires, while sliding sideways and traveling at a high rate of speed down the residential street.

"The officer identified the driver. During the officer香蕉视频直播檚 conversation with the driver he detected possible signs of alcohol intoxication," said Const. Jesse O'Donaghey, in a press release.

Subsequently the investigator provided the driver with a demand who then provided samples of his breath roadside both of which resulted in a fail.

The driver, a 19-year-old Kelowna man, was issued a 90 day Immediate Roadside Prohibition (IRP) under the Motor Vehicle Act. His vehicle was towed from the scene to be impounded for a period of 30 days.
