Transient campfire in Kelowna quickly doused

The fire was near Wizard Lake Marine

Black smoke was seen rising from behind 2700 block of Highway 97, Monday afternoon.

BC Ambulance and fire crews responded to the scene. No visible flames were seen in the area when crews arrived.

ItÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s believed the black smoke was coming from a transient camp.

No one was injured in the incident and fire crews were able to douse the small blaze.
