Structure lost in fire near Penticton airport

Crews respond to blaze on Old Airport Road

One structure was lost in a recent Penticton blaze near the city's regional airport, local fire crews have confirmed.

On Saturday, Jan. 11, at around 3:30 p.m., the Penticton Fire Department responded to a blaze on Old Airport Road.

Penticton Indian Band crews were also on scene and took over the incident upon arrival, according to the city.

It is unknown if there were any injuries and the cause of the blaze was not determined.
