Motorists in the Okanagan, Similkameen and Shuswap regions should take it easy Friday morning because of snow.

As of 6 a.m., Drive B.C. was reporting the following conditions:

Highway 1

Compact snow with slushy sections from Sorrento to Craigellachie

Highway 3

Compact snow in the Princeton area

Highway 33

Compact snow from McColloch Road to Mission Creek bridge in Kelowna, with fog patches in some areas

Highway 3A

Slushy with slippery sections from Keremeos to Kaleden

Highway 6

Slushy with slippery sections from Vernon to Lumby

Compact snow with slippery sections from Cherryville to Monashee Summit

Highway 97

Slushy sections from Summerland to Westside Road

Slippery sections from Kelowna to Oyama

Slushy with slippery sections from Oyama to Falkland

Slushy with slippery sections from Falkland to Monte Creek

Highway 97A

Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres continues. An additional five to 10 centimentres of snow this morning.
