RCMP are on the hunt for a man wanted for attempted murder after a shooting that took place in Oliver.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Afshin Maleki Ighani, 45, who was allegedly involved in a shooting on Wednesday.
The incident took place on April 19 in the area of Station Street in Oliver. An adult male suffered a non life-threatening gunshot injury as a result of the encounter. RCMP said the suspect and victim were known to each other.
RCMP describe Ighani as 175 centimetres tall (5香蕉视频直播�9), 75 kilograms (166 pounds), bald and has brown eyes.
Anyone who knows of his whereabouts or sees Ighani is asked to immediately call 911, Crimstoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or contact their nearest police detachment. RCMP warn the public not to approach Ighani, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
According to court records, Ighani was scheduled to make a first appearance on May 10 to face charges of possession of a controlled substance.
The Oliver RCMP are now seeking the public香蕉视频直播檚 assistance in locating Ighani, who is also facing several other charges including uttering threats, pointing a firearm, possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm without a license, occupying a vehicle knowing their was a prohibited/restricted firearm, possession of a loaded firearm without a license, breach of recognizance and possession of firearm while prohibited.
