Only one Penticton house cracked the top 50 priciest properties in the Okanagan.

According to the latest BC Assessments for 2024, acreage at 345 Lower Bench Road is valued at $8.573 million and came in 36th on the list of Southern Interior香蕉视频直播檚 top-valued properties.

The highest-valued property in the region is in Lake Country at 12990 Pixton Road. The five-bed, nine-bath home was built in 2009 and has a property value of $16,987,000, an increase of more than half a million dollars from the previous assessment.

As property assessment notices are being sent out to homeowners across the area this week, BC Assessment group released their province-wide list of residential, single-family and strata property values and their market value change throughout the year.

The year begins July 1, 2022, and is assessed through to July 1, 2023.

Home values in Penticton are down three per cent from last year to $727,000 to $708,000. Property assessments across the Southern Interior are down this year.

香蕉视频直播淢ost homeowners throughout the Southern Interior can expect modest changes and even some decrease in their assessment values,香蕉视频直播嬒憬妒悠抵辈 says Southern Interior Deputy Assessor Boris Warkentin.

Oliver price values stayed neutral at $610,000 last year and $609,000 this year.

Osoyoos homes went down two per cent from 684,000 to 673,000.

Keremeos is down one per cent, with an average home valued at $498,000 compared to $505,000 last year.

Summerland home prices are more expensive than Penticton but did see a two per cent drop with the average price of a home at $776,000 in 2024 compared to $788,000.

Kelowna also saw a three per cent drop in home values from $987,000 last year to $953,000 in 2024.
