Okanagan Spirits has once again taken on the world and won.

The Vernon distillery captured five gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the World Spirits Awards in Germany, with the pi猫ce de r茅sistance being the repeat gold medal award for the Laird Of Fintry single malt whisky.

Along with the Laird of Fintry single malt whisky, gold winners included Taboo absinthe, aquavit, blackcurrant liqueur and haskap liqueur. Silver was awarded to newest liqueur member rhubarb and bronze to the family reserve vodka and Gin de Mononcle, a gin created with renowned chef Martin Picard last summer.
