This past weekendÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s warm temperatures are causing concerning for the already streams and rising lakes, as the snow pack starts to melt.
Now Environment Canada is forecasting showers for the next few days.
Monday will be hot and humid with temperatures of 31 C and UV index of seven for the Okanagan. While in the Shuswap residents can expect a 30 per cent chance of showers and an evening thunderstorm.
For Tuesday it will start out sunny, but there is the possibility of a thunderstorm with showers in the afternoon with wind increasing to 20 kilometres an hour. Temperatures will hover around 30 C making it humid right across the Okanagan and Shuswap region.
Wednesday the rain is set to continue with a 60 per cent of showers for both central Interior with highs near 22 C.
Rain again on Thursday, tapering off across the region on Friday where itÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s forecast to be cloudy and cooler.
The weather will turn around on the weekend to a mix of sun and cloud with temperatures about 24 C.
