One person escaped with minor injuries after a mobile home fire in the 35oo block of Elk Road in West Kelowna this afternoon.
West Kelowna Fire and Rescue (WKFR) says a resident was home at the time of the blaze but escaped with radiant-heat injuries from the fire, which engulfed the mobile home and nearly spread to another structure.
The first arriving crews on the scene were able to quickly knock down a blaze that was starting to extend into a neighbouring unit. Thirteen firefighters battled the blaze.
The resident is out of the home as it suffered extensive damage, and is with family and also receiving support from emergency services.
香蕉视频直播淲est Kelowna Fire Rescue conducted an investigation the cause of the fire is undetermined but not considered suspicious,香蕉视频直播 stated the department who also thanked other responders from BC Ambulance, RCMP, BC Hydro, and Emergency Support services for their assistance with the incident.
