Some compassionate dog control officers have reunited a family.

Jasmine the dog is back with Dawn Dixon and her family in Carvel, Alta. (not far from Stony Plain outside of Edmonton) after being found in Vernon.

In late March, Jasmine, a 10-year-old border collie, was found wandering Vernon without a license.

香蕉视频直播淒og control checked her for identification, found a microchip and contacted the registered owner in Alberta. The owner, however, was out of the country and unable to retrieve voice mail until several days later,香蕉视频直播� said Leah Mellott, with RDNO.

香蕉视频直播淛asmine had already been in the pound for five days when an individual showed up to claim ownership, stating that a friend had found the dog in Alberta.香蕉视频直播�

According to Mellott, dog control officers refused to release Jasmine as they suspected these individuals were not the rightful owners.

Shortly after that, contact was made with Dixon.

North Okanagan residents are encouraged to lend a hand when they see a lost dog.
