McHappy Day has lived up to its name in the Okanagan, raising close to $25,000 for a local cause.

A grand total of $24,400 was presented to BGC Okanagan after the May 10 event, half of the total raised on the McDonald香蕉视频直播檚 franchise香蕉视频直播檚 biggest day of the year.

香蕉视频直播淭hey fill a vital role in the community, and we are happy to be a part of it,香蕉视频直播� said Tim Pink, McDonald香蕉视频直播檚 Kelowna franchisee, when speaking of the local BGC.

BGC Okanagan offers young people a place of belonging to experience new opportunities, overcome barriers with confidence, meet new friends and create healthy relationships.

香蕉视频直播淥ur wide range of programs includes providing healthy food and snacks to creating spaces for children and youth to engage in active, healthy living,香蕉视频直播� said Richelle Leckey, community engagement coordinator with BGC Okanagan.

Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provides families a place to stay while their sick children are in hospital, was the other recipient.
