A man who allegedly attempted to smuggle guns across the border is calling for the arrest of a judge and Crown counsel.
Alex Louie, who has been in custody since his Feb. 1 arrest after being denied bail Feb. 2, stated in Penticton provincial court via video Wednesday 香蕉视频直播渁 warrant has been issued for the Crown,香蕉视频直播� asking federal Crown to state their name for the record and telling Judge Greg Koturbash he was 香蕉视频直播渦nder arrest.香蕉视频直播�

The 49-year-old man is facing nine charges in connection with an alleged attempt to smuggle handguns across the Canada/U.S. border including two counts of smuggling goods into Canada and two counts of possession of a firearm without a license and/or registration.

Louie did not answer any of Koturbash香蕉视频直播檚 questions during a hearing slated to elect a mode of trial. Koturbash made two attempts to ask Louie what his preference was while Louie continued to talk through Koturbash香蕉视频直播檚 instructions. Koturbash concluded a non-response would result in a Supreme Court judge and jury trial.
Louie repeatedly stated he has renounced his Canadian citizenship and questioned Koturbash as 香蕉视频直播渆xecutor of the trust.香蕉视频直播� He also cited the 香蕉视频直播渃ultural genocide of (his) people,香蕉视频直播� on a Kelowna court file number. The June, 2016 court file points to a driving while prohibited charge Louie was found guilty of and sentenced to 60 days in jail with a two-year driving prohibition.

Louie is scheduled to appear in Penticton Supreme Court April 24 to fix a date for a trial.
