Good Samaritan dragged behind own vehicle when it was stolen in Langley

A Good Samaritan who pulled over to help when he saw a car on fire in south Langley was dragged behind his own vehicle as it was being stolen from the scene in April.

Langley RCMP have now issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted in connection with that hit-and-run that injured the Good Samaritan.

Mark Sameer Batraki, a 42-year-old Langley man, is alleged to have been involved in the incident on April 6. He has been charged with criminal negligence causing bodily harm and theft of a motor vehicle.

It香蕉视频直播檚 alleged the Good Samaritan pulled over to offer aid after seeing a vehicle on fire. A man at the scene asked the Good Samaritan for a ride. When he said he couldn香蕉视频直播檛, the suspect jumped into the Good Samaritan香蕉视频直播檚 work truck and drove off, said Langley RCMP.

The victim grabbed the door handle in an effort to stop the suspect, and was consequently dragged for some time. He suffered injuries and was taken to hospital.

Batraki is a five-foot-10, 190-pound middle Eastern man with brown hair and hazel eyes.

His last known address was in Kelowna, however it is unknown where he is at this time.
