Kelowna香蕉视频直播檚 Gospel Mission will host a Thanksgiving dinner Monday, Oct. 10, from noon to 6 p.m. in the homeless shelter's dining room, 259 Leon Ave.
The meal is open to anyone in the community. No reservations needed. ()
Kelowna香蕉视频直播檚 Gospel Mission plans on serving 800 meals on Thanksgiving Day.
Kelowna Mayor Colin Basran, local MLAs Steve Thomson and Norm Letnick are among the over 50 volunteers who will serve the meals.
The homeless and people in need will be able to enjoy a delicious, traditional Thanksgiving meal of turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, vegetables, cranberry sauce, rolls and pie.
This year former guest of the shelter, Gordon Siemens, will present a poem he wrote to honour Gospel Mission outreach worker JoAnne before the meal.
